Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup carrot, finely grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup ketchup Plus extra for topping.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated carrot, and parsley. Mix well.
  • Add the eggs, salt, black pepper, oregano, paprika, and ketchup to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is well combined.
  • Transfer the turkey mixture into the prepared baking dish, shaping it into a loaf or a cake shape.
  • Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top of the turkey mixture for added flavor and moisture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the turkey cake is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
