Spicy Turkish Ezme in Your Pressure Cooker
This Ezme recipe is your new favorite Turkish salad! Ezme is a spicy Turkish spread made with tomatoes, spicy green peppers (like jalapenos), and red pepper paste. Spoon it over Kebobs or scoop it up with fluffy pita.

Toss finely chopped onion, Turkish red pepper paste, and tomato paste into a large bowl. Mix well so that paste coats the onion.
Add finely chopped tomatoes and hot green peppers. Stir in fresh parsley and mint, then drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Mix so everything is combined.
Pour mix into pressure cooker, seal with ring, lock lid, and cook at high pressure for a few minutes. Quick-release to keep herbs fresh.
Open lid carefully, toss in chopped walnuts if using, and give a gentle stir before serving.
Notes
Serve as a side or alongside kebabs for an authentic Turkish dining experience. Adjust heat level by varying the peppers used.
