- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 mini slider buns
- 12 slices cheese (cheddar or American)
- various optional toppings (lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard) Customize based on preference.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined, but do not overwork the meat.
Divide the meat mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty, about 2 inches in diameter.
Preheat the grill or frying pan over medium heat. If grilling, oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking.
Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip them and place a slice of cheese on each patty. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the beef reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.
While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster.
Assemble the sliders by placing each patty on a bun and adding your desired toppings. Serve immediately on a platter.
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
Feel free to customize your sliders with different cheeses or toppings based on your preference.
For a vegetarian option, use plant-based patties instead of ground beef.
