  • 1 lemon zested and juiced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Drizzle the olive oil into the breadcrumb mixture and stir until the crumbs are evenly coated and slightly moist.
  • In a baking dish, place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a single layer. Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture generously over the shrimp, ensuring even coverage.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven, and serve hot with lemon wedges, if desired.

You can substitute fresh parsley with other herbs like basil or cilantro for a different flavor profile.
For a crispy topping, briefly broil the dish for a minute or two after baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
