Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup beef broth (or water)
  • fresh cilantro Optional for garnish.

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
