Brew 2 shots of espresso using your espresso machine or coffee maker. If you do not have an espresso machine, you can brew strong coffee as an alternative.
In a small saucepan or using a milk frother, heat the milk over medium heat until hot, but not boiling. Froth the milk until it’s creamy and has a nice foam.
In each mug, combine the hot espresso with the chocolate syrup and peppermint syrup. Stir well to combine.
Pour the frothed milk over the espresso mixture, filling the mug almost to the top.
Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and drizzle with extra chocolate syrup. If desired, sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top for an added festive touch.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious peppermint mocha!
Adjust the amount of peppermint syrup to suit your taste preference; add more for a stronger peppermint flavor.
For a non-dairy version, switch to plant-based milk and ensure that the syrups are dairy-free.
