Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter Melted.
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 packages cream cheese 8 oz each, softened.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 large orange orange zest
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Whipped cream for serving whipped cream
  • Additional for garnish orange zest

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  • In another large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the granulated sugar and continue to mix until fully combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract, orange zest, and fresh orange juice until fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the sour cream until smooth.
  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and only slightly jiggly.
  • Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour to cool gradually.
  • Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully set.
  • Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with additional orange zest.

Notes

Ensure all your ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing.
This cheesecake can be made a day in advance, making it perfect for gatherings.
If desired, you can also add orange segments on top for added flavor and decoration.
