Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon (6 oz each) You can substitute with any firm fish, such as trout or tilapia.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Optional for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Pour the lemon butter garlic mixture evenly over the fillets.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley, if using. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

You can substitute the salmon with any firm fish, such as trout or tilapia, but adjust cooking time as needed.
For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon in the lemon butter garlic mixture for 30 minutes prior to baking.
