Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream can be replaced with Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise can be replaced with Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 1 can diced jalapenos 8 oz, drained (or 2-3 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for serving tortilla chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  • Stir in the diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the mixture to an 8x8 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and slightly golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider adding some chopped fresh jalapenos or a splash of hot sauce to the mixture.
This dip can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Just reheat before serving.
If you prefer a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and mayonnaise.
