Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread About 12 inches.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 stick.
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley Chopped.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using). Mix until well-combined.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the edges of the bread are golden and crispy.
  • For an extra crispy finish, you can broil the bread for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can add grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking for an extra cheesy flavor.
For a more intense garlic flavor, increase the amount of minced garlic.
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
