  • 1 can (415g) Heinz baked beans
  • 4 slices bread (white or wholemeal)
  • 2 tablespoons butter For spreading on toast.

  • optional grated cheese For garnish.
  • optional chopped herbs (like parsley or chives) For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Begin by opening the can of Heinz baked beans using the can opener. Pour the contents into a medium saucepan.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and gently stir the beans to prevent them from sticking or burning. Heat for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are thoroughly warmed.
  • While the beans are heating, toast the slices of bread in a toaster until they are golden brown.
