  • 1 bowl for marinating
  • 1 basting brush optional
  • 1 tongs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat
  • to taste fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 20 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.

  • Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp for even cooking.
  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  • Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
