- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 to 2 pounds total.
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.
Place the chicken breasts in a plastic wrap or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is well coated. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (you can marinate up to 4 hours for enhanced flavor).
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Once heated, remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
Place the chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
For even juicier chicken, consider pounding the chicken breasts to even thickness before marinating.
You can customize the marinade by adding herbs like thyme or rosemary, or adjusting the spices to fit your taste.
Serve with fresh vegetables or on a bed of greens for a complete meal. Enjoy!
