Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions optional
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and refried beans. Using an electric mixer or spoon, mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Add the sour cream and taco seasoning to the bean mixture. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  • Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese. If using, add diced green onions and diced tomatoes for added flavor and color.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving dish. You can chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes if you prefer a cooler dip, but it can also be served immediately.
  • Serve with Fritos or tortilla chips for dipping.
  • Feel free to add other toppings like olives or jalapeƱos for extra flavor.
  • This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator for convenience.
