  • 8 slices bread Any kind you prefer, such as brioche or sourdough.
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Optional.
  • as needed butter or oil For cooking.

Instructions

  • Begin by cutting each slice of bread into quarters, creating bite-sized corners. Set them aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sugar (if using) until well combined.
  • Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the surface.
  • Dip each piece of bread corner into the egg mixture, ensuring they are fully soaked but not overly saturated.
  • Place the dipped bread corners onto the heated pan, making sure not to overcrowd it. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
