Main ingredients

  • 2 pounds cooked shrimp peeled and tails off, chilled
  • 2 cups sliced cucumber thin or chunkier
  • 1/2 cup creamy mayonnaise rich base flavor
  • 1/4 cup sour cream for tangy smoothness
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard a little bite
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice can't skip the zing
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill or chives for herbal freshness
  • Salt and pepper to taze up the taste
  • Optional celery for crunch
  • Optional red onion thinly sliced for zing and color

Instructions

Instructions

  • First, you get a large bowl and toss in the cooked shrimp and sliced cucumber. The fresh crunch with the shrimp sets the scene.
  • In another small bowl, whisk up the mayo, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dill or chives, salt, and pepper. You want it smooth so it coats nice.
  • Pour that creamy dressing over the shrimp-cucumber mix. Be gentle when you toss, you don’t wanna mush the cucumber or shrimp.
  • If you’re feeling fancy, add celery or red onion now. Toss it again so everything blends in.
  • Pop the salad into the fridge for a bit. This lets the flavors hit their stride and the chill makes it so refreshing.
  • When you’re ready to serve, give it one last gentle stir to freshen it up.
  • This salad is best when served cold but if you want just a quick warm touch, go real light. It’s mostly about that fresh taste.
  • Enjoy knowing your shrimp got a tender pull thanks to your cooker and all the dressing’s zing hits just right on every bite.

Notes
