Equipment

  • 1 large skillet
  • 1 measuring cups
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 cutting board

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 pounds.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup cream or heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste fresh parsley For garnish, optional.

Instructions

  • Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the ranch dressing and cream. Stir well to combine and cook for about 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the creamy ranch mixture over them. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and the flavors to meld.
  • Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes. If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish before serving.
