Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, oregano, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well and bring to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
