Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz vodka
  • 8 oz cranberry juice Preferably unsweetened.
  • 16 oz ginger beer Ensure it's chilled for an extra refreshing drink.
  • 2 oz fresh lime juice About 2 limes.
  • 4 pieces lime wedges For garnish.
  • to taste optional fresh cranberries For garnish.
  • ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice. If you prefer a stronger lime flavor, feel free to add a little extra lime juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Fill four copper mugs or glasses with ice cubes.
  • Strain the mixture from the shaker into each mug, filling them halfway.
  • Top each drink with ginger beer, pouring gently to avoid fizz overflow.
  • Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  • Garnish each drink with a lime wedge and a few fresh cranberries if desired.

Notes

For a sweeter version, you can use sweetened cranberry juice or add a simple syrup to taste.
Ensure your ginger beer is chilled for an extra refreshing drink.
This cocktail can be made in larger batches; simply multiply the ingredients and serve in a pitcher.
