  • Coarse salt (optional for rimming)

Instructions
 

  • If desired, prepare the glasses by rimming them with lime juice and dipping them into coarse salt.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, tequila, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice.

Notes

To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan, heat until sugar dissolves, and let it cool.
