Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Make a series of cuts in the loaf of French bread, being careful not to slice through the bottom. Make the cuts about 1 inch apart both vertically and horizontally.
Cut the brie cheese into small pieces and tuck them into the cuts of the bread, ensuring even distribution.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the bread, making sure to get some into the cuts.
Spoon the cranberry sauce generously over the top of the bread, allowing it to seep into the crevices.
Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the top to get golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
