Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch baking dish
  • 1 mixing bowls
  • 1 electric mixer
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 14.4 oz chocolate graham crackers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3.9 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips Optional for garnish.

Instructions

  • Begin by breaking the chocolate graham crackers into smaller pieces. Layer half of them at the bottom of the 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk and instant chocolate pudding mix until smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  • Once the pudding has thickened, gently fold in half of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until well blended.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the layer of graham crackers in the baking dish. Pour the chocolate pudding on top of the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.
  • Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped topping. Finally, add the remaining chocolate graham crackers on top for decoration.
  • If desired, sprinkle chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips on top for garnish.
  • Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results, to allow the layers to set.
