- 8 ounces egg noodles

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Divided into two cups for layering.
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas (optional) Can be included for additional texture and flavor.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the egg noodles in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
