Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Add the melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined and a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese until evenly distributed in the dough.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it gently for about 1 minute. Do not over-knead.
  • Shape the dough into a rectangle or desired shape, about 1 inch thick.
  • Place the dough on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, brush the top with melted butter for extra flavor and color.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before cutting into pieces.
  • Optionally, sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish before serving.
