  • 1 whisk
  • 1 wooden spoon or spatula
  • 1 loaf pan (9x5 inches)
  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
