Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread (white or whole grain)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (or pizza sauce)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 small bell pepper, diced
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup sliced olives (optional) Optional ingredient.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the bread slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread about ¼ cup of marinara sauce evenly over each slice of bread.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce on each slice.
  • Add diced bell pepper, sliced mushrooms, and olives (if using) on top of the cheese.
  • Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder over the toppings for added flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is lightly toasted.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  • Slice the bread pizzas into halves or quarters and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorite ingredients like pepperoni, sausage, or additional vegetables.
For a crispy crust, you can toast the bread for a couple of minutes before adding the toppings.
