1 baking sheet
1 mixing bowl
1 oven
- 1 baguette baguette About 12 inches long.
- 6 cloves garlic Minced.
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter Softened (1 stick).
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley Finely chopped.
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Optional.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
Cut the baguette in half lengthwise to create two pieces. Place the baguette halves cut side up on a baking sheet.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut side of each baguette half using a spoon or spatula.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the garlic is fragrant.
Remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Slice it into individual pieces for serving.
Feel free to adjust the amount of garlic based on your preference for garlic flavor.
For an extra touch, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
Garlic bread is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be wrapped in foil and reheated in the oven.
