Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 4-6 oz each.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs e.g., basil, oregano, thyme.
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste (about 1 teaspoon).
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper To taste (about 1/2 teaspoon).
  • as needed pieces fresh parsley For garnish (optional).

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each breast is evenly coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
You can marinate the chicken for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for extra flavor.
Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste; lemon juice or fresh herbs can also be added for more zest.
