Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the spicy candied pecans: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the pecans, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until the pecans are well-coated.
Spread the pecans on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until they are golden brown and fragrant. Remove from oven and let cool.
While the pecans are baking, prepare the blackberry compote. In a small saucepan, combine the blackberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring gently until the blackberries break down and the mixture thickens slightly, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Grease a baking dish with butter and place the Brie cheese in the center. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is soft and gooey.
To serve, carefully transfer the warm baked Brie to a serving platter. Top with the blackberry compote and sprinkle with the spicy candied pecans.
Enjoy immediately with toasted bread or crackers.
