Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Kitchen towel or paper towels

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchini About 400 grams.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste optional grated parmesan cheese For topping.

Instructions

  • Start by washing the zucchini thoroughly. Cut off both ends and slice the zucchini into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  • Pat the zucchini slices dry with a kitchen towel or paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add the zucchini slices to the bowl and toss them gently in the oil and seasoning mixture until they are evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Once preheated, arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the zucchini chips in the air fryer for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once they are golden brown and crispy, remove the zucchini chips from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
  • If desired, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese while still warm.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your crunchy zucchini chips as a healthy snack!

Notes

You can customize the seasoning according to your taste. Try adding other spices like cayenne pepper for heat or Italian seasoning for a herby flavor.
Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket, as this can lead to uneven cooking.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days; however, they are best enjoyed fresh.
