Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Scraper or spatula

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs red potatoes About 6 medium-sized.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Instructions

  • Begin by washing the red potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Pat them dry.
  • Cut the potatoes into bite-sized cubes (about 1-inch pieces) to ensure even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cut potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the potatoes are well-coated with the oil and seasonings.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding for best results.
  • Cook the potatoes at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes. Shake or stir the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even crispiness.
  • Once done, check for doneness by piercing a piece with a fork; they should be tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasoning to your taste by adding herbs like rosemary or thyme.
If you want a bit of heat, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
Leftover potatoes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a crispy texture.
