Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • as needed Ice cream For serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well blended.
  • Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg yolk to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Divide the dough in half and press each half into a small oven-safe dish or ramekin, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  • Place the dishes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other. Cook for approximately 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is soft and gooey.
  • Carefully remove the dishes from the air fryer. Allow them to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Top each pizookie with a scoop of your favorite ice cream and enjoy while warm.

Notes

Adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer model, as some may cook faster than others.
Feel free to customize the pizookie by adding nuts or different types of chocolate.
For a more decadent treat, drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce over the top before adding the ice cream.
