Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 knife
  • 1 cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts About 450 grams.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste none salt
  • to taste none black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Optional, for a cheesy finish.

Instructions

  • Start by cleaning the Brussels sprouts; trim the stem and cut them in half. If some are larger than others, cut them into quarters for even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the sprouts are evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, add the Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket in a single layer. (You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.)
  • Cook the Brussels sprouts for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The sprouts should be golden brown and crispy.
  • If desired, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the sprouts in the last 2 minutes of cooking for a cheesy finish.
  • Carefully remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer, serve immediately, and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize the seasoning according to your taste preferences. Other great options include balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, or red pepper flakes for added spice.
