Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 tongs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb broccoli florets Fresh, cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional.

Instructions

  • Begin by washing and cutting the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Ensure they are evenly sized for uniform cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss well to coat the broccoli evenly with the seasoning.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the seasoned broccoli florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If necessary, cook in batches to prevent overcrowding.
  • Air fry the broccoli for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the florets are crispy and tender. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of the florets and the specific air fryer model.
  • Once done, remove the broccoli from the air fryer using tongs and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
Feel free to experiment with other spices or herbs, such as paprika or Italian seasoning, to customize the flavor to your liking.
