- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sliced black olives
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions

In a mixing bowl, combine the refried beans and half of the taco seasoning. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of the serving dish.
In the same bowl, mix the sour cream with the remaining taco seasoning. Spread this layer over the refried beans.
Layer the black beans evenly on top of the sour cream mixture.
Spread the guacamole evenly across the black beans.
Pour the salsa over the guacamole to create the fifth layer.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa layer.
Top with sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, and chopped green onions.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
For a spicier kick, consider adding jalapeƱos to the layers.
You can prepare the dip a few hours ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator.
