Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta elbow or rotini.
  • 2 cups pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella.
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the uncooked pasta, pasta sauce, and water to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir well to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize this casserole by adding vegetables such as bell peppers or spinach.
For a spicier kick, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes to the beef while cooking.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the microwave or oven.
